Waheguru, please forgive any double mindedness within me,

I, gratefully turn my face away from this world to head into your WILL for my life,

Waheguru, you are the master of all, and your Word is true.

O Waheguru give dilligence to devote myself to meditate on your NAAM.

I pray for a heart that delights in your truth,

Please help me when I am wrestling with my own bitterness and blues

Also when facing trials and temptations

that discourage to follow your WORD.

Guide me to bravely bear my hardships and trust you in every circumstance,

Have your way in me that I might,

in every way be made whole

When I am troubled, grant me faith,

to wait patiently and not cave in fear.

THANK YOU for reaching my heart, it now belongs to you.

But you’ve got to do something about my wild mind,

which is easily lured by worldly temptations.

Like a beacon of light

Showing me the path,

Now no longer dark and forbidding

He came and touched me!

An angelic touch!

That allayed all the fears - wild and imaginary

And my tormented soul got relief.

Tranquility is Thy name

Mesmerised, I bow my head!

My eyes flicker open

Like half-open petals!

Only to let down a glistening tear!

He came

Like a father guiding the faltering steps of his prodigal son.

Never letting him go astray!

Never letting him be tainted by the treacherous Maya!

And my anguished spirit is restless no more

For I drown in the ocean of His Divine love.
